ANNUAL MEETING March 2026
The Annual meeting was delayed due to inclement weather in January and February. Highlights of the meeting are as follows:
Called to order at 1402
Finances for 2025 reviewed and the budget for 2026 was given.
Update on the pool resurfacing timeline was given with an estimated cost of $37,000.
Security camera problems mentioned. Will look at in the next budget. Cameras are still operational but getting old.
Homeless people in the area was brought up and advised to call KCSO not the HOA with concerns
New lettering and pressure washing for the entrances
Certain streetlights mentioned not working
Landscaping at entrances discussed
Four new board members appointed and approved by voice vote

Monthly Meeting
Flag at Dubois entrance replaced
Cox Pressure Washing Service Discussed with special rates for Sterchi Hills
Met with landscaper about dead and dying plants at the Dubois and Rainier entrances and set a budget for replacements
Discussed cutting down a few trees in the median sections
Pool resurfacing is FINISHED at a cost of $37,500.00
Pool opening date is May 16th
Passed a motion to get pool deck pressure washed
Passed a motion to get pool deck lettering redone
Board to study violation verbiage and schedule

Monthly Meeting
Pool Resurfacing is paid for in full
Plants at Dubois and Rainier entrances discussed
President attended to discuss fines and board voted to wave additional fines with only the original fine left to be paid which was paid
Unknown vehicle hit curb at Rainier entrance which damaged the irrigation system and it needs to be replaced
Pool is ready to go for opening day
Newsletter will be published at the end of July
Fine schedule discussed with Jeff Cook presenting a flow chart concerning this issue
Noted that vast majority of violation n octaves can be fixed just by communicating with the board
Meetings for January and February were not held due to weather

Posting of Pool Worker position discussed

Meeting was attended by an estimate of 20+ neighborhood members.
Roberts Rules of Order explained by President Owens
Issues brought before the board
Amanda Trentham asked that the HOA buy a pool Basketball Goal. Approved
Toes being injured in pool by ruff bottom from possibly the new pool resurfacing. Issue will be looked into by VP Rodewald
Violations should not be brought up naming specific members in front of other members not on the board
Members not receiving notice of possible violations before notice of fines occuring. Will be looked at as to why its happening and if it is actually Happening
Member mentioned that they would like to see a change where any new rules are adopted that the membership must vote on them and not just the board before they are enforced
Motion was made by Secretary Stooksbury and seconded by Amanda Trentham:
“Motion to rescind the 2020 Restriction Clarifications”
Heated discussion followed both for and against the motion. Stooksbury called for the question and a vote of the board was taken with the result being FOUR against the motion and THREE for the motion so the motion to rescind failed.
